Manufacturer’s recommendations and important information:

It is highly recommended that the ULTRA-AIR MODEL 735 septic aerator be allowed to run continuously to provide optimum performance and ensure an adequate oxygen supply is readily available inside the septic tank to proliferate the growth of aerobic bacteria. Do not shut off the motor for extended periods of time if left inside the septic tank.

The ULTRA-AIR MODEL 735 aerator comes with a pre-wired 115-volt plug that is designed to plug into a normal electrical socket or for reference an extension cord. The motor draws only 3.5 amps when operating. When mounted into a tank the motor and the suds restrictor must remain above the highest liquid levels inside the tank. At least every 6 months all motors with a shaft inside the tank should be taken out and any debris on the shaft removed. The stainless steel shaft is hollow and attaches to another hollow shaft that extends through the center of the motor. Air is drawn from the vent on top of the tank lid and down through the hollow shafts where it is distributed throughout the tank as defined in the tank illustration. At least once per year the inside of these shafts should be checked to ensure there are no restrictions. Cleaning inside the shaft can be accomplished by using a gun cleaning rod and brush or some other similar means.

Although the ULTRA-AIR MODEL 735 aerator has been constructed with Permanently lubricated bearings in a fully enclosed housing, it was not designed to be placed in an area that will flood. Only special flood proof motors will handle flooding conditions. A flooded motor will not be covered by warranty.

Warranty is valid in the U.S. only.
