The camera is located on the left hand side of the frames recording what you see, as you see it and recordings includes sound. The micro USB port, MicroSD memory card port and operating buttons are on the top and bottom of left frame arm. The arms themselves are made of hollow plastic to house the electronics. The right arm houses the high power miniature lithium battery that lasts for 90 minutes. It has an impressive 1920x1080p @30fps HD video recording resolution. 5MP camera with non stop auto shoot photo function where you can continue to take photo's whilst wearing without pressing any buttons.
Easy 2 button operation to turn on and instantly take non stop photo's with just one button pressed. Press the other button and it start's recording HD video with very clear audio. Can be worn or left laying around recording and can record at high speeds or just static/stationary. Please note movement of the camera (turning head quickly whilst wearing) and the subject (what you are filming) and the light conditions will all effect the HD performance. For example do not expect full HD video when attempting to record whilst dancing in a night club. As with all camera's they are limited to what they can and cannot do and Micronic do not want you to expect too much avoiding any disappointment. In good daylight conditions these glasses are amazing and very impressive.
Each pair include USB charge/transfer lead, storage box, cleaning cloth and instruction manual. The lenses have a protective film that require peeling off before wearing, on the inside to minimise scratches, which will need to be removed before use. Micronic put these through a vigorous real life testing procedure. Here is the result - upon opening the box and removing the the glasses from there cloth bag they look good. The metal frames and plastic arms are much better than all plastic models. They feel and look more realistic than 2014 models making them comfortable and confidence in wearing. These are quite robust but would not survive being sat on just like any other pair of sunglasses. A memory Class10 MicroSD card needs to be inserted before using. The operation of them was simple with 1 press of each button they were recording away before even realising it. Using them day and night with good results although it did struggle at times in the night. Overall a very good spy camera for their price and they don't get much better than this.
These require a Class 10 MicroSD memory TF card with a minimum of 4GB up to maximum 32GB and is not included.
