Penstemon Sensation Mix is a perennial, long flowering, large flower hybrid that is very compact, base branching plant which produces many short spikes packed with flowers. Preference is for a sunny position in soils that are moist in summer and dry in winter, neutral to alkaline soil of moderate to low fertility suit them best.
The plant bears clusters of chubby, trumpet shaped flowers from late spring through summer. Flower colours are blue, violet and pink. Water requirements are low and plantings will last about 4 years.
Plants grow to 30 cm with flower stems reaching thigh high. An excellent plant for cottage gardens or as a border.
