The new DAC-88 Digital to Analog Audio converter box takes your optical digital audio source and converts it to standard analog left/right audio, available for connection to an external device such as an amplifier or recording deck via standard RCA-style jacks. Now you can connect the digital audio output of your new TV to your stereo receiver, amplifier etc. Which most probably sounds better than any newer component.

How it works.

Simply run a short extension cable from your optical audio output jack on your device to the optical input of the DAC-88 converter then hook up your analog RCA-style left and right cables to the converter's analog RCA audio outputs and power up the converter.
