- Characteristics: This evergreen shrub has a bushy habit, boasting fiery-red coloured flowering in Spring and Summer and mid-green foliage all-year-round.
- Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of .5 - 1m. It will take 5-1 years for the Azalea to reach this peak growth.
- Period of Interest: The Spring and Summer months are when this Azalea will produce striking red flowers that are extremely eye-catching. The mid-green foliage is an all-year-round feature, with the only months of non-solitary growth coming during the traditionally warmer seasons.

The Red Azalea Japonicas are very attractive, striking evergreen shrubs. Any garden will gain a statement piece with this Azalea, mainly due to the bright pop of colour provided by the red flowers. The green foliage will be joined by the red in Spring and Summer when the plant will begin to show off the vibrance it can offer. Garden borders or beds would be ideal for the Azalea as it will enable it to illuminate the garden to great effect.
Plant this red Azalea Japonica in moist, well-drained soil and ensure it gets frequent watering in the warmer months of the year. Springtime is when the red flowers begin to show, before they all show themselves in Summertime when the weather is at its warmest. Place the shrub in any partially shaded area within the garden, whilst keeping it out of direct sunlight.
