Licuala spinosa is a densely clumping palm of medium height, with slender stems and heads of circular, divided fan leaves.
 It is common in cultivation and may reach 3-4 m height.
 Known as the spiny Licuala because the leafstalk are savagely armed with many tiny, pointed spines. 

 The plant is native to the moist areas of southeast Asia. Licuala spinosa grows in clumps,
 reaching 3 to 4 m (9.8 to 13.1 ft) high. It prefers full sun, a lot of water, and is more cold hardy than most Licuala species.

We aim to bring you good quality, viable seeds from many reputable sources worldwide, including our own stock, seeds that we use and grow from ourselves.

However, no seed is guaranteed to germinate from any seller, supplier or plant.

Nature and care add many variables to growing any plants from seed, but we will offer you help and advice should you need it.

We always send general advices for sowing the seeds, but most of the seeds we sell need a previous treatment before being sown.

That's is not included in the instructions, but we have this information on our blog.

All seeds sold are fresh and are stored in conditions suitable to promote the viability of that particular type of  seed.

Germinating seeds and growing plants are subject to many other factors including the conditions under which they are raised (including but not limited to: Light, moisture, soil, humidity) and the skill of the individual grower.

We can not assure you their sprouting, cause is not in our hands, but if you’ve tried and had no results,contact us.
