It has only been filtered through muslin to remove hive fragments, colour added and  then moulded into the 1oz bars shown in the pictures. 

Black Beeswax is most commonly used as a polish for Boots:   - Offer effective water protection, helping to waterproof boots in the wettest of environments      - Sink into the leather of the boot, increasing strength, toughness and durability     - Give the boots a professional shine second to none     - Help stop boots cracking.

The wax is cosmetic grade so it can be safely used for balms, creams, soap, candles, polishes, moulds etc   The wax burns really well for candles, even with a smaller wick!
