Do you have a broken KitchenAid Pasta Roller attachment? Did a foreign object accidentally jam up and break your pasta roller? The pasta attachments are equipped with a shear pin/shaft (similar to a snow blower) that breaks, preventing damage to the KitchenAid mixer and other components in the pasta attachment. However, KitchenAid does not provide replacement shear pins/shafts and the solution is to replace the entire attachment!

Introducing, the Hex Shear Shaft replacement kit for KitchenAid Pasta Roller Attachment KPSA, KPRA and KPEX. This kit comprises of a new hex shear shaft assembly, an installation bushing and a complete installation instructions to repair your KitchenAid pasta roller attachment. The brass hex shear shaft is CNC machined to tight tolerances to ensure it fails when overloaded and not during normal operation. All parts are inspected and  tested before leaving our factory to ensure the highest standard of quality.

The installation is very simple and the tools required are: 1) a Phillips head screw driver (PH1), 2) a pair of pliers or wire cutters, and  3) a small hammer (2OZ). Replacing the hex shear shaft takes as little as 5 minutes!
