This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with routers. This part allows user to secure bits in a tool. This collet is for using bits with 1/4" arbors only. Due to prolonged, heavy use a collets tend to wear out requiring replacement. It is made from strong metal material and it is sold individually. Please note the collet nut is sold separately.
To replace this 1/4" collet you will need a wrench.
• First you would need to remove the collet nut • Remove the old collet • Secure the new one in place • Tighten the collet nut
