Known as the "Architects of Time" Ebel brand designs are influenced heavily by architecture providing them with a boundless source of inspiration which they have been tapping for over 90 years. Always at the forefront of technology, in 1939 Ebel was the first watchmaker to use "Western Electric" precision evaluation system to test the precision of each timepiece. From 1939 to 1945 Ebel supplied the British Royal Air Force with watches and after the successful release of the highly praised Sport Classic collection in 1977 Ebel, was commissioned to design an elegant line of watches for Cartier.
