Improve the performance & sound quality of your 1932-1953 Flathead Ford V8 with these high quality & affordable tubular steel center dump design headers. Complete with header bolts and gaskets, flange bolts and gaskets, 2-1/2" diameter companion flanges. Ground parallel with .300" flanges on the mounting surface. Although these are 1932-1953 Ford Car specific headers, they will fit many other applications with usually a minimum of changes. Ceramic Hot Coating (CHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube, while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow. Not only will this coating help you make more horsepower, it also keeps your headers rust-free, looking great, and lasting longer (when properly maintained). If you are looking for a quality finish for your headers, this is it. Good to 1300 degrees. Consult the known restrictions below to insure headers will fit your vehicle and application. Note: Headers drop down 7-1/2", at exhaust ports the headers stick out 2-1/4", and at the bottom of the block the collector sticks out 4-1/4". Known Restrictions:
Ceramic Hot Coating Warning: Warning: CHC coatings will burn and be damaged at exhaust temperatures over 1300 degrees. A lean fuel mixture can generate exhaust temperatures exceeding 1700-1900 degrees. If the coating is damaged due to a lean condition, the coating will not be warranted, but can be recoated for a fee. No warranty or returns on Ceramic Hot Coated exhaust items once they have been installed. Header Return Policy: Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don't damage the header. When you receive the header the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund. If you bend or dimple any of the tubes or scratch the finish, we will not be able to sell the header and will not be able to process a refund. Use care when trial fitting headers.
