This unique gourd bpiggy bank varies in size.

Each is unique, on average they are 6.5 inches. Carved by Luz Laureano in Peru these one of a kind pieces are finely decorated by burning the detail with eucalyptus embers. Then the carving around the gourd is performed with sharp carving (buriles) knives to achieve the final product. The seeds remain dry inside and the noses are made from wood pegs. A great tradition of carving gourds rolls back 4,000 years to the pre-Columbian tribes of Peru.

Each carved gourd piggy bank is individually handcrafted with care.

The cost remains the same as traditionally traded goods but the distribution of the cost of the product is different.
