Up for sale is a rare and one of a kind Norwegian/American Folk Art female Troll-Like Doll measuring approx. 16" tall. This doll was hand made by the Artist Ojlanna Venden Cunneen (1923-1988) of Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. Oljanna's work is displayed in the Wisconsin Folk Art Museum. Her hands and face are made of composition clay and hand painted. Her body is wire, wool and batting filled and there is rabbit fur on her troll shoes. She has over-exaggerated features, a hairy growth on the top of her nose and is a bit on the grotesque side. She is dressed in primitive clothes and bonnet. There are some paint chips on her hands and some white marks on the side of her face. She is standing with one foot up and affixed to a block of white birch that has dried out a bit over the years.
