* We have done most of the work for you – our bed kits are predrilled, tenoned and sanded –you have the option to put a finish on the bed once you receive it or have us do it before shipping.
*Easy Assembly! – In order to provide you with Free Shipping, we ship our beds completely disassembled, meaning they are a DIY family friendly project . Mortise and tenon construction allows for easy assembly of head and footboards while the siderails are bolted to the head and footboard.
*King beds will ship with support slats, however they are also available to purchase for other sizes of beds

We will build and ship you a beautiful log bed in under 1 week. Beds will be delivered by Fedex (no signature is required at time of delivery) – approximate ship time / transit time once it leaves our facility is 1-4 business days.
Box weights are between 85-120 lbs on average.
Please contact us immediately if you are missing pieces or have incurred any damage during the shipping. – We will send you out replacement parts within 2 business days in most cases.
RETURN POLICY
*All cancellations of orders, returns or order changes will be subject to approval as we build per order. A 10% restocking fee will be charged on all approved returns and order cancellations (if the order has been built).
*Returns are accepted within 7 days of shipment and upon approval with Twist of Nature. You must contact us by telephone and we will arrange for a return shipment. The item must be returned in the condition in which it was shipped out to you. PLEASE NOTE: Customer will be responsible for actual shipping cost BOTH WAYS. Refunds may be given as store credit, merchandise exchange or refund by check or credited back to your PayPal account within 5 business days of receiving the returned shipment.
We will not be held responsible for cracking and checking in any of our log furniture. Cracking and checking is a natural process with log furniture and is to be expected in any log furniture. We will not accept returns due to cracking and checking in a log. Logs may be shipped with cracks already or as time goes on you may experience cracking later on. Most cracks will not effect the structural integrity of the furniture – it should be looked at as added character rather than a flaw. If for some reason you are not happy with how a particular log cosmetically looks on an item we build and ship to you, you may PURCHASE a replacement log from us. (Shipping charges will apply). You may call us to order. (Does not apply to all our furniture).

While conventional furniture often features pristine wood surfaces, graceful lines and delicate legs, we at Twist of Nature create log designs that boast the uniqueness of knots, grain irregularities, powerful log lines and overall character of the log. Our Norway Pine logs are local or trucked in from northern Minnesota. Our workshop is located in Princeton, Minnesota, where each log is hand and water peeled, hand sanded, dried and turned into a custom creation for our customers to use in their homes and cabins. It's the details that matter, right down to each pick, split or miter.
Rustic vs. Traditional Logs
Rustic is a wood that was either a dead standing tree or a log lying on the ground with the bark on for quite some time, allowing for worm tracking and colorful characteristics to be added to the log itself. Traditional is your fresh tree cut and peeled immediately to preserve the natural blonde look. You may choose which fits your decor. We will automatically ship you a bed with rustic logs unless you contact us requesting the traditional clean/ blonde logs.
Hand tooled with professional care
Hand and water peeling helps preserve the pine's beautiful grain, rustic knots and unique color variation. All logs have been dried naturally and may have worm tracking, cracks and checks. This adds to the natural beauty of the wood and also gives each piece its own character. Cracks and checks do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. All of our furniture is hand sanded as wall, and the ends are tenoned to enforce rigid construction. Our furniture is built to last, and we know you will enjoy it for years to come.
