Our grip enhancement kits do for the feel and handling of your pistol what red dots and scopes did for aiming.  They’re not magic, but you might wonder…

Sand-Paper-Pistol-Grips manufactures custom, laser-cut, cut-to-fit, peel-and-stick, handgun grip enhancements for many makes of pistols.  All of the lines are smooth and don’t look like they were cut by hand or with a pair of scissors.  They are the best upgrade for your pistol by far.  They are very affordable and less expensive than stippling, and they won’t damage your pistol or reduce its value like stippling does.  Our grip kits will not affect the gun manufacturer’s warranty.  Stippling is permanent and voids the warranty.

The materials we use are about 18/1,000 of an inch thick (about ½ millimeter) and will not add any bulk to your grip.  (The edge of a dime is about 50/1,000 of an inch or 1.3 millimeters.)  They make your pistol look and feel amazing and will immediatelychange the “personality” of your handgun.  They’re like wearing a highly tactile shooting glove every time you draw your handgun, without having to actually wear one.

Our grip enhancement kits are self-adhesive, peel and stick, but they are not permanent, even though the adhesive is pretty strong and they last potentially for many years.  They are semi-permanent and will not come loose under normal to somewhat severe circumstances.  However, they will come off when you are ready to remove them.  One customer returned to purchase a new kit to replace one that they had had on a pistol for six years!  After six years, one piece of the kit came loose. 

The kits are quick and easy to install.  It usually takes about five minutes or so to complete the installation.  In the unlikely event you would ever want to remove them (usually to try one of our other textures), you can pick at the edges with your finger nail and once you get it picked loose, you can go ahead and peel them off.  They do not leave any residue behind, but they might leave small pin head sized blotches of adhesive, which can be “blotted” off easily with the piece you just removed.

You might not be impressed with the material when you take it out of the package, but once you get them installed on your handgun, you will be amazed.  It’s hard to put into words the impression that you will have.  Many of our customers have called us over the last several years just to let us know how surprised they were.  Remember, you’re not paying for material.  You’re paying for technology and very much improved handling of your pistol without having to spend many hours with material and an exacto knife!

Material / Aggressiveness / Applications:

*Black Scorpion (a.k.a. SRG70 in other listings) – Semi-Aggressive – Black Only - Great for competition, plinking, shooting at the range.  Ok for concealed carry, but not against bare skin using an inside the waist band holster.  Under some conditions, this texture might feel mildly wet in your hand, but when you remove your hand from the grip, your hand is dry with no residue.  It has the same effect as spitting in the palm of your hand and rubbing it in to get a better grip on something, like a slick handled sledge hammer or baseball bat.  Black Scorpion is the most advanced peel-and-stick, self-adhesive, decal-style gripping material that is applied directly to your pistol’s existing grip frame.  Its gripping properties surpass anything currently available.  Black Scorpion is a hybrid of 80 grit grip tape with an outer layer of synthetic rubber bonded by a special process.  What you see and feel is a finely stippled rubber surface that won’t damage your handgun or reduce its value like traditional and expensive stippling can do.  What’s amazing is that something so thin and so light can produce such a dramatic difference and lasting impression.

Our grip enhancement kits are cut fresh on demand every day no matter how many kits are shown to be "available" at the top of this page next to the picture.   We don’t keep any inventory where the kits can stack up and dry rot.  Our “cut on demand” fulfillment system insures that our stock of material and your orders are always new and fresh and the best that they can possibly be.  Note: We started putting a small activated charcoal packet inside each kit’s clear plastic envelope, because one customer complained that the material smelled like burnt rubber.  The charcoal packet is like those found in medicine bottles.  It absorbs any unpleasant smells.  Three to four days in an envelope during transit insures that there is effectively no unpleasant smell when your order arrives.  We answered the guy’s complaint by telling him that these kits are laser cut and that a laser works much like using a magnifying glass and the sun to burn something and that if he was to stick his finger between the material and the laser beam, the material would smell like burnt finger.

If the grit style material is too aggressive, it can be “knocked down” by using the extra material in the kit to sand them down to your liking before applying them to the firearm.  The Black Textured Rubber and Black Scorpion can be gently wiped with alcohol on a cloth to restore their tactile nature.

All orders are shipped WITH TRACKING via the US Postal Service.  Almost all of our orders are shipped the same day your order is placed, as long as it is placed in time for us to get them fulfilled and to the Post Office on time.  Our competitors ship their products in a 6” x 9” envelope without tracking.

Your grip enhancement kit will come complete with directions and alcohol cleaning pads in its own clear envelope and shipping poly bag, with a sticker.
