A bit about Red Clock Tower Malacca:
The Red Clock Tower in Malacca or otherwise known as The Tang Beng Swee Clock Tower is located outside the Stadthuys. It was provided to the people of Malacca in 1886 by Mr Tan Jiak Kim to fulfil the desires of his dad, Tan Beng Swee, who was a 3rd generation of a Chinese philantrophic millionaire family. The original clock was imported from England. This Tang Beng Swee Clock Tower, although it looks Dutch, however it is not.
