Description

This set contains 500gr of Regular Set Alginate. Regular Set Alginate has longer working time than Fast Set Alginate. More time - no need to rush, less panic.

Number of castings can vary depends of your skills. Experienced user can make up to 4-5 newborn limbs, up to 4 limbs of a baby under one year, or 2-3 limbs of a child up to 3 years. So - number of castings depends on age of baby, your skills, and size of moulding container in use. Actual amounts of materials will vary from individual to individual. User assumes full responsibility for own calculations of material needed. Our easy-to-follow instruction contains easiest way to calculate - How much material you'll need for your project.
Also has QR-code, for quick and easy access of visualised instruction on youtube (very handy if you looking as gift).
Once completely dry (approx 5 days), casting is ready for painting, or if you prefer, you can leave them as they are.

⚠️Kit has no own packing, white or brown postal cardboard - boxed (see picture tab) - NOT gift-wrapped, you need re-box if you looking for gift - Different occasions - different packaging!
We do not do Bucket of paint because; Each case are individual, and size of moulding container can vary depends on size of moulding object (please see attached video). Bucket of paint is too large for babies casting, you just waste your moulding material and money using so large container.
Providing a paint bucket is not the best option for a gift set as it does not look particularly eye-pleasing. Imagine giving an paint bucket container as a gift - you might receive not presentable look.
Different occasions - different packaging needed.
Providing something that most people would have lying around their house - its a waste of Customers money, because container would increase the overall size of the package and its weight also. The result would be an increase in kit cost, which would have to be passed on to the Customer.

⚠️You'll need additionally:

Moulding/Mixing container(s). This could be margarine box, plastic milk container cutted in half, or any other similar container.
IMPORTANT - Distilled/Deionized water (usually at Tesco or Asda store, 2.5 Ltr).
Kitchen scale. Calibrated jug.

PLEASE NOTE - Possible errors and wastage of moulding material (Alginate), especially if you are novice, until you become familiar how it's working, quantities and temperatures, because moulding powder are fast setting material. Possible reason of errors, such as incorrect water temp, incorrect ratios of materials, unpredictable behavior of child, or you read instructions wrong.
We would recommend our Casting kit "BIG - DOUBLE", because this kit contains double number of Alginate (1kg) for less.
