A fine and rare set of three early 16th Century French antique intricately carved oak blind Gothic tracery panels, Circa 1500.

The central panel with armorial-type crown above a shield, flanked by two larger panels, the left one bearing the initials "IHS" the latin monogram of Jesus Christ and unusually, the right panel bearing the Latin monogram for "Maria", namely Mary, mother of Jesus.

Most likely to have once formed part of a French dressoir or similar now long since lost.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire three early panels that are not easily found these days.

Condition - Good colour.  Surface marks to the outer edges where the panels were once rebated into a joined piece of furniture.

Dimensions : All 10" Wide x Tallest 19" High / Middle Panel 15 1/2" High
