Any difference you find between one brand of hinges and the next is not due to differences in the materials and manufacturing, but in the conditions during which they are manufactured, stored, and transported. Many stamp collection buyers will allocate zero to the portion of a collection that is hinged when they are appraising it for purchase. Our philosophy is that if it is worth collecting it is worth putting in a stamp mount. We stock 4 brands of stamp mounts, and have nearly every size that is made in black and in clear and in gard style (center-split) or top-open style in one or more of those brands.
