Light and bright, this unique desk is guaranteed to set the mood for a good days work! Solid English Oak is interspersed with a striking blue inlay to create this beautiful table-top. This meets a hand-cut and welded, professionally powder coated blue steel frame and our stylish blue hairpin legs to create a desk to be proud of. Great products are nothing without the right finish. All our furniture is coated professionally to ensure hassle free use for years to come. This means our timbers are polyurethane spray finished and all our metalwork is powder coat finished - these two processes are a must for high end furniture production and are just whats needed for the busy family home.WHO IS WICKED?
Here at Wicked we're building an independent design and manufacturing house in the heart of England. Based around the ethical sourcing of beautiful, unique hardwoods we believe it shouldn't cost the world to have fantastic furniture that will last a lifetime. One thing we promise is that we won't use chipboard or composite wood products that contain noxious chemicals; instead it will only be real hardwoods in all our furniture products. From our 13,000 square foot commercial workshop we design, build, coat, photograph and pack all our own products. Our aim is to bring fresh ideas and designs that you won't find anywhere else... all produced to the exacting standards our customers have come to expect.FAQ
What fixings do I need?For these desks, not a single one! We’ll ship in two parcels for you – one containing the table top ready-fixed to the steel frame, and another containing the legs with screws included. So all you need to do is pop them together.
What courier do you use?
We ship next-day with DPD within the UK, who provide hourly slots for delivery so you don’t have to wait in all day. You’ll also have the opportunity to amend your delivery details after the order direct with DPD – so you can change your address or inform them to leave your delivery in your chosen safe place. European orders should arrive within 3-5 days after processing.
For all international orders we use TNT or UPS, who also have a fantastic tracking service.
Are your prices negotiable?
We’ve worked hard to ensure you get the best price possible for your order, so all listed prices are final. However, if you are ordering a particularly large quantity, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes – our workshop is fully equipped to deal with custom orders as you need them, so just give us a shout for a quote.
What do you finish your furniture with?
The finish on any piece of furniture is of the upmost importance as it protects and enhances the wood ensuring the furniture can last a lifetime. This should be thoroughly understood prior to purchase of any item. Here at Wicked we are able to custom finish all our pieces (wax, lacquer, oil etc.) but, as standard, we use an industry leading, low VOC polyurethane.
What maintenance is required?
The finish we use is designed for the modern, busy home. To this end it is both water and heat resistant. We always recommend spills be tidied immediately and coasters / plate mats be used. To clean use a damp cloth.
Do you sell to retail / wholesale?
Yes. Wicked runs out of a 13,000 square foot workshop and warehouse just outside London and can produce our designs in high volume to tight deadlines. Please get in touch to discuss any ideas you may have.
