Tips for Color Selection:
You may be confused about which Color to choose for your bulbs.
The color of the bulb output is determined by the Kelvin temperature.The higher the temperature
is the more blue is in the color of the bulb. Maximum light output is around the 4000k-4500k (OEM kits are around 4100k-4300k) temperature.
4300K: This light color has the most output. The light appears fairly white and has light yellowish hue when reflected off the road. Ideal for drivers who need optimal visibility.
5000K: This light color appears fairly white,one of the most popular color on the market.
6000K: This light color can make your eyes comfortable but penetration is feeble.It emits pure white light with a slight tint of blue.
8000K: This light color is a popular choice for decoration light. Penetration is very feeble. It has less light output than 6000K. It emits a bluer light that gives you a more aggressive style.
10000K: This light color is for those who want blue light for that ultimate in exotic. Keep in mind, 10000K is NOT the brightest color because it is the most blue we offer.
12000K: This light color is for those who want the most blue headlight color.Keep in mind this may get you in trouble with Law enforcement and is not the brightest color.

Will these bulb fit my vehicle? Step 1: Select your vehicle from this guide below: Check the bulb application on Sylvania's Lamp Replacement Guide Home . Step 2: Depending on your vehicle, it may ask you if you have composite HID headlights. Some newer vehicles come with factory HID / Xenon such as Audi BMW Mercedes etc... if your vehicle has factory HID make sure you order the correct bulb size from the drop down:
a. Vehicles with factory HID / Xenon:
---If your vehicle has factory Xenon (D2R ) choose the correct bulb above from the drop down.Select the color. Vehicles with composite headlights also known as halogen bulbs.These bulbs are not for you.These are for vehicles with factory D2R bulbs.
b. Do your bulbs come with HID ballasts to power them?
---Negative. You must buy those separate or you may already have them. Please do not think this is a complete HID conversion kit. We are only selling replacement bulbs.
c. I have factory halogen light bulbs, can I buy these bulbs and install them to get brighter light?
---No, these HID bulbs required HID ballasts. If you do not have an existing kit, you will need to buy HID ballasts as well. We are only selling replacement bulbs.
d. My car has factory HID (such as Audi / BMW / Mercedes / Cadillac) and one bulb is burned out.
Can I buy just 1 bulb?
---We only sell these bulbs in a pair. You need to check to see if your vehicle came with factory
HID / Xenon. Next, you need to test to see if indeed your bulb is burned out and NOT your ballast.
Even OEM ballasts can go bad. You can do this by swapping the bulbs from one side to another.

Q: What is HID?
A: HID (High Intensity Discharge) refers to lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. A normal halogen bulb uses a filament which can burn out in as little as 200 hours. HID bulbs are gas filled capsules that are rated for a lifespan of nearly 4500 hours. HID bulbs also shine much brighter due to this technology.
