The Sprenger ultra plus prong collar is the professionals choice, made from high quality steel which is double plated for longevity.

If you are unsure how best to use the prong collar please stop, and consult a trainer for guidance.

The prongs are machine rounded to prevent scratching or discomfort, unlike many budget brands which have a flat cut and rough surface.

The prong collar is a training tool and is not a replacement for your dogs every day collar.  It should only be worn while training and removed if the dog is off lead.

The collar should not be left on for extended periods and a dog should never be tethered with the collar.

The collar is fitted by unclipping the links and placing round the neck, then the links reattached. The collar should never be fitted over the head as this means it's far too big and is an unnecessary risk of injury.

The 3.0mm gauge collar measures 56cm/22 inch. Each link is 3.3cm/1.25 inch long. The collar is sized by removing or adding links to fit.

Additional links can be purchased to extend the length.  The collar should be approximately 2 inches longer than the measurement at the top of the neck.

The collar is suitable for medium to large breeds, examples of neck sizes below are intended as a guide only:
