The IR Remote/RGBLed Strip :
RGB means Red Green Blue each smd5050 led chip has three led's Red Green Blue
- select between single colours, apart from Red Green Blue all the others are derived by mixing the Red Green Blue together, same way our LCD TV's work
- select between 4 pre-set lighting pattern: Quick / Slow / Auto / Flash / Fade
- IR (infra red) works like your TV controllers, you need to aim at the IR receiver on the white box
- smd5050 is the industrial name for the led chips. These measure 5.0 x 5.0mm ie smd5050, where a RGB 3528 has separate chips ie single Red, Blue Green in a line and measure 3.5 x 2.8mm ie smd3528, you cannot achieve different colour shades with rgb smd3528 as cannot mix the Red, Blue and Green together, only achieve colour patterns.
