HEADS UP! The Dangleberry 3.0 is out, and on limited time release sale! Lighter, less friction and an aluminum pulley! Check it out HERE!

New and improved! Lighter, stronger, faster rolling with a new "ribbing" system that improves vibration resistance!

This is a new mountain bike chain guide system, designed and manufactured to order in the US! This chain guide system attached to the bicycle's chainstay, the low member of the rear triangle, where it damps out chain vibrations that would knock your chain off. Designed specifically for 1x11 systems, it will benefit any 1x application (must have a rear derailleur, not compatible with 3x). Designed and tested on a derailleur with the clutch disabled, you know you can count on this guide to pick of the slack on any rear derailleur, reducing the tendency for the chain to be bucked off in rough terrain.

We don't just believe in simplicity and ruggedness, we believe in sustainability. All plastic components are biodegradable plant plastic, stronger than ABS, and are fully serviceable. If you break anything, we'll replace it at cost. If you don't pick up every last shard of plastic, nature has your back. Uses standard metric hardware available at most hardware stores and standard skateboard bearings to boot. Even our proprietary plastic parts can be replaced with metric spacers. Mountain biking is a liberating experience, and we wanna keep it that way.

We have custom color options as well. You can request the main body and pulley to be distinct colors as well! Specify no color and receive all black. Scope:

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Unlink chain, and thread through chain guide. Note that the teeth have alternating widths, and the chain should be mounted accordingly. Reconnect chain ends. Ensure chain length is still adequate for gear range. A new chain is recommended.
2. Wrap included tape around chainstay, a few inches from your chainring.
3. Use zipties to attach chainguide to taped area.
ATTACH TO BOTTOM OF CHAINSTAY ONLY.
4. Tighten zipties with pliers until they sink into the tape slightly. This will keep the guide from sliding forward or backwards.
5. Shorten the chain appropriately, if necessary.
6. Cut zip tie excess length.

Setup tip: Before securing zip ties firmly in place, ensure that back pedaling is smooth. If the chain slips, adjust the position or dangle-angle and try again!

ALSO: The dirt shield around the bearings is designed for superior protection of the cartridge. The fitment is tight, and a break in period may be needed to achieve free spinning.

We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic.Mountain biking is an extreme sport, and failure of this device can lead to interference with the wheels, chain, and cranks. Dangerous situations may develop. Always inspect your bike before and after riding or crashing. Not for e-bike or motorized vehicle use.
