This Roman Imperial Gallic Centurion Helmet is from 100 B.C. to 300 A.D. The main officers of the Imperial Roman guard were the Centurions, each in charge of 100 men, hence the name. These Centurion Generals wore adorned plumed helms that could be easily seen in battle. This full size historical hand crafted helm is as glorious as the originals with its full crest and brass accents. This Imperial Gaelic-Type helmet was the choice of officers who led the Roman armies. The flamboyant crest actually served a purpose for the conspicuously practical Romans. It made the officer more visible to his men while offering the illusion of height that helped him appear more commanding. The color of the plume signified different things. During some periods the color specified the officers rank, and at other times it designated units. The colors could be red, white, black, brown, reddish brown and others, as well as two or more colors mixed. At times the plume would run from front to back, and at other times it would be mounted crossways. This Roman Centurion Helmet features a red horse hair plume and is hand made of high carbon steel. The Roman Centurion Helmet is fully wearable.

Thick, 18 gauge carbon steel is used for the durable construction of this Roman Imperial Centurion Helmet. Horse hair is used for the 7 inch tall plum, died red. Carbon steel is contoured to the authentic shape of the historical helmet. Layered steel adorns the top. A moveable steel visor is fixed to the front. Around the sides are brass decoration rivets to signify status. The bottom edge of the Roman Imperial Centurion Helmet is trimmed with brass all the way around. At the back is a carbon steel neck shield designed to fit over a gorget. Each side of the face is further protected with a hinged shielding.

• Returns Due To Defective Merchandise:
  Any product that you receive is defective you have 15 days after receipt of product to contact us. After 15 days, we are not obligated to accept are defective merchandise. All returns must be pre-approved before sending the items to us. We can then exchange the product. Refunds may only be issued when an item is no longer available. • Returns Due To Shipping Damage:
  If your package or merchandise arrives damaged, please let us know within 5 days or receipt of the package by emailing us your full name, order number with a detailed description of the damage. You may email us. Once we have been notified of the damage, you are then responsible for filing claim with the shipping company. DO NOT send damaged items back to us without approval. All items must be sent back to us in the original packaging with all parts included.
• Returns Due to ACCIDENTAL ORDERS:
  If the order was placed by accident and was shipped, shipping costs are not refundable.  It is your responsibility to read the product description before placing an order. It is your responsibility to make sure when ordering the shipping service and cost. We will not return any shipping costs once the order has been shipped under any circumstances.
• Returns Due to UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS:
  We cannot return merchandise due to the fact that you do not like the merchandise. We will not exchange or issue refunds in cases where the customer simply does not like the item or is disappointed with the item. If an exception is made, then the item will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
• In-Stock Policy:
  Our website provides updated information on stock levels of our products. If an item oversells, we will contact you to make other arrangements.
• Fraud Policy:
  We are not responsible for credit card fraud. We cannot refund merchandise if your credit card was used without your authorization. It is your responsibility to contact police authorities in this event.
• International Orders:
  
  Returns are not accepted for international orders.  We do not refund any shipping costs for international orders for any reason. If customs refuses your package or it is not delivered to addresses outside of the United States, we will not refund any amounts that are incurred for shipping, handling, customs, importation, or other transportation related to the transaction. Buyer should be aware of the laws and regulations for their own country and buyer assumes all risk when purchasing items that may be prohibited in their area, or may be refused at customs. For example: if a Viking Sword is shipped to Denmark and customs refuses it and sends it back to the seller, the seller will not refund the shipping cost back to the customer. If the merchandise arrives damaged there also may be a 50% restocking fee associated, or possibly no refund at all depending on the circumstances.  Seller has made it clear that buyer will not receive a refund for shipping internationally outside of the United States.
