Scarce Marklin SEF 800 3012 HO gauge Locomotive in Blue. French prototype, SNCF. In very good condition, with reasonable playwear on the body as show in the pictures. A very presentable engine. Judging from the wheels and slider, I don't think it has been run a lot. I tested it briefly on a short test track, and it ran and reversed like it should. It hasn't been run in a long time, and it could use some lubrication before running it on your layout. The coulplers are in good shape, as are the type 6 pantographs. The engine was amde from 1955-1969. It's one of the hardest to find. The die-cast metal body is marked "SEH 800." on the front and 1101 on the sides. Both the SEF and the green SEH models had the same marking. Priced to sell!
