12A MICROWAVE OVEN CERAMIC FUSE SLOW BLOW TIME DELAY 6.35MM X 32MM

This Fuse range is found in many microwaves. It is used as the main input fuse and fails if there is a fault, often the fuse fails for no reason from prolonged use of your microwave and the everyday stress and strain.

These fuses are designed to withstand the high current surge that is produced when the microwave starts, it is also sand filled so it won’t explode if there is a fault. Only this type of fuse should be used in microwaves.

Firstly check the length, there are 20mm and 32mm versions of these fuses, then check the metal end caps, the current rating will be printed on one end, failing that the fuse rating should be printed on the circuit board next to the fuse holder.
