BRIEF SUMMARY: 2014 live-action Japanese movie directed by Takuro Oikawa and based on a manga by Yomi Hirasaka. 2nd year high school student Kodaka Hasegawa has transferred to his new school about a month ago, but he still hasn't made any friends. Kodaka Hasegawa was born from a Japanese father and a British mother. Because of his appearance, people think Kodaka Hasegawa is a troubled kid.
One day, Kodaka Hasegawa sees classmate Yozora Mikazuki pleasantly talking to herself. Kodaka Hasegawa talks with her about how to make friends. To make friends, Yozora Mikazuki decides to form the Neighbor's Club and forces Kodaka to enroll in the club. Soon other students begin to enroll in the Neighbor's Club.

羽瀨川小鷹（瀨戶康史飾演）天生有著兇惡眼神和一頭金髮，讓他總被誤會成是不良少年，因而無法順利交到朋友。某天放學，他在教室裡看到對空氣自言自語的黑髮美少女三日月夜空（北乃紀伊飾演），讓他就這樣被夜空拉入莫名成立的「鄰人社」。這個以「能順利交到朋友」為宗旨的社團，隨著巨乳千金柏崎星奈（大谷澪飾演）等問題美少女的加入，也就這樣展開了熱鬧不已的校園社團生活。
雖然鄰人社逐漸步入正軌，卻總是被學生會百般阻撓，尤其會長西園寺（栗原類飾演）更三不五時對小鷹等人施壓，立志要廢掉鄰人社。即使如此，社員們還是一起唱KTV、去海邊，熱衷在各式各樣的交友練習當中。當大家玩起天才科學家志熊理科（神定真央飾演）發明的虛擬遊戲機時，他們萬萬沒想到，現實世界竟在遊戲結束後，受到｢某人的妄想｣而被影響。發現事態嚴重的眾人，決定團結起來，面對自己內心深處的秘密，並同心協力要讓暴走的世界恢復原狀…。
