When this watch was produced, it was made for a man's wrist. Times have changed. A watch of this size could easily be worn by a woman today and would look fantastic.

Vintage watches may gain or lose a small amount of time per day as they do not keep quartz accuracy. A watch may need to be adjusted after the stresses of shipping even if it was keeping great time prior to being shipped. Also, because most vintage watches being offered are between 40-70 years old, small imperfections, scratches, and wear are to be expected.
A Word About Mechanical Watches: All mechanical watches, whether manual or automatic wind, will need periodic servicing simply due to the friction of its moving parts. Generally, I do not know the service history of pre-owned watches I sell unless I personally have had the watch serviced. I time all watches for at least 24 hours prior to listing and 12 hours prior to shipment. If it doesn't maintain acceptable accuracy I don't list it or I won't ship it and the buyer will receive a refund.
