The book is in the same format as the Dr Who Annuals, but features a single novella in which the Doctor reluctantly saves the Mortimer family from the Great Fire of London, and then has a thrilling adventure with them on a giant spaceship in the Andromeda Galaxy.

The original laminated boards are in attractive condition with wear and bumping to the corner-tips and spine (see pictures). Internally clean and bright and free of inscriptions. Binding sound and square.  A very attractive copy in unusually good condition. Rare.
