Bamboo Rod Tip Blanks

Four vintage and matching split bamboo rod building tip blanks.    About 40" long.      Diameter 2" in from butt end is about .180" to .190" and the diameter 2" in from tip end is about .075".

Blanks came from a estate sale in Colorado of the long closed tackle and rod building shop.   This shop long ago bought out the bamboo rod stock of Wright & McGill and Phillipson, when these Denver based companys ceased production of bamboo rods.    Thus, these blanks are from 1960's Denver, either Wright & McGill or Phillipson and were stored correctly thru the years.      Said to be impregnated.    Don't know line weight.

All in excellent condition.   Very well made; straight and solid.    Stored correctly, no splits, cracks or dings.     Beautiful color.

You get four, all matching and shipped in a heavy fiber tube.
