This lens is Near Mint condition.

Optically, the Glass is absolutely pristine, Flawless. 

Lens has always been stored carefully inside a sealed plastic bag. There is absolutely no scratch, no coating marks, no discoloration, no haze or fungus on or under the glass. Multi-coating is fresh and looks very fresh and rich.  There are a few really tiny dust particles inside the lens. This is extremely normal and has no affect to image quality. This Nikkor 85mm F2.0 Ai-s lens is built for the top grade portrait shooting.

Cosmetically, This lens is in near mint condition. There is No scratch, no dings, no dent, no brassing of any kind.  The only reason why this lens is not listed mint is that there is extremely light sign of wear on the front edge of the focus ring. This lens is otherwise 100% free of mark, in absolutely mint condition. The lens body is also extremely clean, dust-free.  Lens mount has no scratch or stainless of any kind. Filter thread has no any sign of wear. The rubber grip is super clean, free of and kind of wear or blemishes, in like new condition.

Functionally, all functions work perfectly like new. the Aperture ring is snappy and clicks at each F stop clearly and positively and feels just like new. The focusing action is firm and silky smooth. The aperture blades are oil-free and mark-free. The aperture blades action is strong and snappy.  The lens built-in lens shade works smoothly into position. The filter thread and the mount all work smoothly.  Aperture blades are absolutely mark-free, in like new condition.
