Not going to lie - got this graded because I would have bet it was an MS67.  Just came back as, of course, a 66.  Now that I got it back, I can see the marks on the hair that probably kept it from a 67.  However, it begs the question - was I just completely blind when I first inspected it?   Not sure how I missed the hair marks on the obverse given how long I inspected and saying to myself "67....67...yep, it's a 67".  LOL  I thought that since the reverse is flawless (it's about as MS68 as they come) they might waffle on it.  Nope.  Clearly this and the 1999 D MS67 I have listed that I found stashed in dad's collection still in a sealed envelope had good padding on the back of the coins but the front was just the envelope and left something to be desired.

Still a beautiful coin that looks like it's right off the presses.

Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
