Dillon XL 650 Missed Live Primer Chute (Ski Jump Fix) Upgrade (BLUE)

This is the Original Dillon XL 650 Missed LIVE Primer Chute (Ski Jump Fix.) Upgrade.
I've been selling my Spent Primer Upgrade for years which solves the problem of spent primers all over the floor.... but the only thing worse than spent primers on the floor is LIVE primers on the floor. This upgrade I designed will replace the original missed primer chute (better know as the Dillon Ski Jump) with my new primer catcher and completely eliminate any missed primers from jumping off onto the floor. This upgrade will not affect the operation of the press in anyway, it is light weight and will not add any unnecessary weight to your platform. It does not need to be removed to change over the primer system from small to large and it will work with either primers. The upgrade can also be used in conjunction with my spent primer upgrade but will also work with the original spent primer cup too.
This upgrade creates a closed missed primer system so there is is no way for the missed primers to exit the system and jump onto the floor. This system uses a Plastic Primer Catcher to contain missed primers as soon as they fall out of the Rotary Primer Disc and funnel them into a small plastic reservoir which can then be unscrewed to transfer the primers back to primer tubes.
This upgrade will ONLY fit Dillon XL650's with the stock plastic primer chute (Ski Jump) shown below. This will NOT FIT the Older Presses that have the combination Primer Chute and Plastic Spent Primer Cup Bracket all in one piece. (see my other auctions if you have an older press.)

This is a new version of my Missed Live Primer Upgrade. It is the same great upgrade just manufactured in a different way. These are now made on a 3D printer, which allows for a much cleaner finish on the prominent side (no more mold seam line), it also has a tighter tolerance for the bottles threads, and it now comes in Black or Blue. If you are not happy for any reason with this item I will give you a full refund.
Why I use Plastic and not Metal.
Face it strange things can happen when reloading... you get into that loading rhythm and are not quite paying full attention to whats going on and a bullet or case can end up where it's not suppose to be all of a sudden. If a case or bullet happens to end up landing in the live primer catcher and you don't realize it and cycle the press something has to give when the platform gets to the top. I'd rather have it be my part give way than have the mounting screw break or tear out of the bottom of your platform. (good luck fixing that on your own) This is the reason I make my parts out of plastic and that they are designed with a single mounting point. This has only happened a hand full of times to people but as always my parts come with a lifetime no B.S. warranty and are replaced free of charge.

Ebay sets the shipping charges, I have nothing to do with them so please don't ask, complain, or leave me low stars about them. I just put in the size and weight and eBay does the math. (I do not add handling charges.) Most items ship same day (Mon-Fri.) or the day after payment has been received. Items Shipping Within the United States will be shipped USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days), or First Class package (2-5 business days), or Parcel Select (2-9 Days) - Your choice at Checkout. Items Shipping Outside of the U.S. will be Shipped USPS First Class Mail International. International buyers pay all additional costs such as duties, taxes, and or customs fees. Depending on where they are going international shipments can take upwards of 30+ days to receive because of customs (especially Italy), I have no control over this so please be patient. |
