For auction is a Sage ONE 12'6" 8 weight Spey Rod. This 4-Piece Sage features proprietary Konnetic Technology, the finest components, has a black colored blank, the finest cork available in the upper and lower grip, and is made in the USA.
This rod is in used condition. The cork is a little dirty from general use, but is in good condition, with no cracks or chunks missing. The blank has a little road rash and light scuffs here and there, as expected in a used rod. The rod blank has no noticeable flaws, nicks, or fractures.
The 8126 ONE is an outstanding Winter Steelhead or BC Steelhead rod. I'm sure it has it's fans across the pond as well for Atlantic Salmon. TDF Sea-Run Browns have likely felt the resistance of the 8126 over the past few years. And I know it has been a "sleeper" King Salmon rod for those who don't want to cast a big 9wt.
This rod loads up awesome with a RIO Skagit 575 or 600 and can handle some major sink-tips and big flies. It is super light in the hand and is a joy to cast. It has several lifetime's worth of fishing left in it.
I lost the original tube, but I have included and Harding and Sons tube. Original rod sock included.
