Paris, France … the city of lights … is also the city of bridges. Straddling the River Seine, the French capital is connected by 37 bridges {… ponts}, including 5 pedestrian spans { … passerelles}.
 
The stamp that captures the most bridges is the 1950, 1,000 franc air mail stamp designed by Albert Decaris.
