PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION. Each hue Lightstrip has 2 different sized connectors, making 3 different cable combinations for each of the 5 Versions of hue. That’s 15 different cables, plus splitters. As all the cables we sell are made to order, please make sure this is the cable you need.

This is a SPACER Cable for philips hue LightStrip Plus V3 (produced until mid 2020) that will link a philips hue LightStrip Plus V3 to an Extension LightStrip, providing space in between. Perfect for having multiple sections of LightsStrips with one Control Box without having them all as one continuous Light. This goes between complete lightstrips only, and does NOT connect to the Control Box.

This will NOT work with LightStrips V4 (produced from mid 2020 and comes with Bluetooth) as they have a different connector.

There are multiple scenarios for which these can be used. For example, you may want to light the underneath of each step in a set of steps. This provides the cable and space in between each of the steps. You would need one of these SPACER cables in between each step.

If you have cut your Lightstrip, this cable will need the appropriate plugs to connect into. You can do this in several ways. By using a Snap On Connector or you can solder a Pin Strip or Socket onto it. Alternatively, you can buy LightStrips Extensions pre-prepared at lengths of 33cm (13.3 inch) or 66cm (26.6 inch). You can find these if you search on ebay.

You Choose The Size

These cables are made to measure, to the exact size you need. If the size you need is not in the options, just purchase a length that will accommodate the length you would like, then drop us a note with your exact specifications. Length is from plug tip to socket tip, excluding any external pins.

Any length can be made. It's the same price for any size up to a metre, and a little more for every additional metre after that. If you would like a length longer or outside of the available options, simply ask. We're using a 20 metre long cable and it is working perfectly, so they will go further than you think.

As all of these cables are custom made to order, so we kindly ask you to make sure the cable you order is the one you need. If you’re not sure, please feel free to message or call, we normally respond quickly. We can figure it out.

Whilst our cables and adapters are being used by ourselves without any problems, you use them at your own risk. It is recommended that you connect no more than 10 meters of actual LightStrip to one Control Box. LightStrips and Control Box are not included.

We like to manage our customers expectations, so there is a 1 working day lead time to construct and dispatch orders. That said we still attempt to construct and dispatch all orders as soon as possible, often on the same working day.
