As a rule of the thumb
an ash grey colour spark plug tip means your mixture is too lean and you need to go up a size(s)
a chocolate brown colour spark plug tip indicates your mixture and main jet size is correct.
an oily black colour spark plug tip means your mixture is too rich and you need to go down a size(s)
