1st photo shows a seedling similar to the one you will receive. The 2nd and 3rd photos show the same tree, at 3 years old and again at 10 years old. The 2nd photo was my main listing photo for many years.
WE WILL SHIP TREES TO YOU WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF PLACING AN ORDER. PLEASE RESEARCH YOUR USDA HARDINESS ZONE (USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map) FOR SURVIVABILITY IN YOUR AREA. EASTERN WHITE PINE TREES ARE HARDY IN ZONES 3 THROUGH 8. BARE ROOT EVERGREEN TREES NORMALLY SURVIVE BEST WHEN PLANTED IN EARLY SPRING, LATE FALL, AND WINTER.
Eastern White
Pine (Pinus strobus)
Appalachian Mountain native white pine seedling transplants; bare root; 18"
to 24" tall measured from base of stem to top of plant; sold
in lots of 5 each. Tree roots are dipped in moisture retention gel, packaged to maintain
moisture on roots, wrapped and boxed in corrugated cardboard to prevent damage. Immediate
planting upon receipt is highly recommended.
Any questions, please ask.
I will ship UPS, for fastest and most reliable shipping, unless you request otherwise. I prefer to ship
trees early in the week (Mondays or Tuesdays), to avoid longer transit times
over weekends. Let me know if you prefer other arrangements.
Please note that I ship trees
that are freshly harvested, no more than one day prior to shipping. I only
ship trees that are alive and very healthy, and with good root systems. I
also will provide some basic planting and care instructions with the
shipment.
I price my trees affordably, so you
can enjoy the beauty of a white pine at a reasonable cost.
I cannot guarantee that
the trees will survive days or weeks after you receive them since survival
depends on many factors outside my control such as how soon they are planted, whether
or not the roots are kept moist after receipt, proper planting methods,
frequency of watering, soil conditions, etc.
Sorry but pine seedlings cannot be shipped to California, Idaho,
Montana, Oregon, Hawaii, Arizona, or Utah due to agricultural regulations in
those states.
Thanks!
