CBT Italia are to this day a medium sized Italian manufacture based in Cuneo, in the Southern Alps. During their 60 plus years of existence they have produced  some wonderful bicycles and this one is no exception. It’s a beautiful frame with really lovely paintwork, straight Columbus tubes and Gipiemme ends. There are a few marks and light scratches but nothing more than you would except for a 25 year old machine. There is one paint chip on the top tube that is noticeable, but other than this you really have to look to see imperfection as it’s so pretty. The Campagnolo components are in good order and the bicycle has had new cables fitted to make gears changes even smoother and braking even sharper. Wheels are a mixture of two quality rims, with the front a Mavic Sup laced to a 1980s Campagnolo Record hub and the rear a Wolber laced to a Campagnolo Athena hubs from the same era. Both rims spin true with excellent brake surfaces and the hubs spin very nicely indeed. Overall this is a lovely Italian road bike with quality Campagnolo kit – a match made in heaven some might say!
