This won't give you the added sample set of the real EX, but, you'll have the updated final OS
and additional FX and upgrades that still make it worthwhile:
8 new effects have been added, including: Mod Pitch Shift-Delay,Stereo Compressor-Limiter/Gate,
Small Vocoder 1/2/3/4, Stereo Vocoder Delay 1/2, and Overdrive and
Distortion effects now offer a modulatable output level.
The Performance Select Map may now be sent as a SysEx Dump.
The local keyboard may now be transposed.
Multiset channels now send and receive the MIDI Volume controller.
Key and Velocity Zones information may now be entered via MIDI.
TO CHECK CURRENT VERSION:
Power on, you will see the Korg logo.
Press the down cursor and the button number 4 at the same time,
after the logo appears.
The OS version will show on the screen.
Press exit to resume normal operation.
