A miniature portrait of Otto von Stutterheim (from the known German family of Barons von Stutterheim), who on 20th March 1835 (according to information found on Web - see our image nr.10) was enrolled to serve in the rank of Unterleutnant (junior lieutenant) in Bavarian Infantry Regiment "Franz Hertling". Old legend on verso says he died in 1872.

The author, Amalie von Peter, is mentioned in the art reference sources as portrait miniaturist working in Vienna and Munich between 1835 and 1847.
