I purchased the car in Washington State from a repossession Credit Union Web site. The fact that the car was repossessed in its past history has lowered the AutoCheck score. I have owned the care since 2011.
This car is currently my daily driver. I will work with any shipper you arrange.Payment = Cash / Cashiers Check or PayPal accepted.I came up with this is a complete list of everything that works or has issues so that the buyer is aware before they bid.
The speedometer and odometer stopped working this last winter. Car apparently is in need or a new sensor which is located behind the driver side rear tire. I use a phone app or the GPS to indicate speed while driving. The RPM, fuel and temp gauge all work as expected, see photo.
The check engine light is on. The oil low pressure alarm comes on during idle speed. There is always oil in the engine however, there is an oil leak and this triggers the alarm at low speeds.
The engine motor mounts need to be replaced. This is noticeable at low idle speed the car vibrates. They are rubber and the car is a 2003. There are diys videos on you tube that show this is not difficult to fix.
The passenger side rear door does not open from the outside. This is a simple fix and I have repaired at least three internal door latches over the years. I will include the part. Iowa cold weather and moisture are hard on molded metal parts that get used a lot.
I must add the transmission is in excellent condition It shifts very smooth no issues. I've owned other BMWs and they usually are not as tough and smooth as this car.
Sunroof (full open or rear tilt option) and mirrors work perfect no issues.Sun shade for all rear windows work except for driver side rear. The corner rear windows also have have privacy shade that works as designed. A new timing belt and alternator was installed June 12, 2018. A new battery was installed this winter and is still under warranty. All weather black floor and cargo mat. Comes with 3 keys that need battery.
This car is by no means perfect but it's nice looking (no rust or dents or dings anywhere) and gets around town. One scrape on the passenger rear bumper (see photo). I have not tried to buff this out, it happened a month before posting this listing.
Power heated mirrors w/reverse gear activated passenger mirror auto-tilt-down

-Passenger side came unplugged not able to find plug in to use power adjustment. It will lean back and forward but the plug connection to move the seat forward is disconnected. I have tried to see where it goes but its been hard for me to see down there and its been a low priority to fix,
