Removed from working custom NAS Box/File Server (Arima HDAMA) when replaced with a HP MSA Array. Allows raided volume greater than 2TB unlike many SATA cards of this type, which have this limitation. It is perfect for a budget/home, high capacity NAS solution.
Never given any problems and a full diagnostic was run (including battery state) before decommissioning. The Battery has been disconnected and has been maintained on charge periodically. It will be fully charged and reconnected before shipping. Please allow 24hrs. to run the battery validation program on the adaptor as the history will have been lost when it was disconnected.
I have accumulated much Documentation, Firmware updates, drivers and other software for this adaptor and have uploaded it all to the ftp area of my website. This includes the updates and drivers for Windows 2008 and latter.
