     *YAMAHA MIRROR REMOVAL & INSTALLATION TIP*
    When installing mirrors on a Yamaha brand motorcycle, you will find the Right side mirror has Left Hand Threads (BACKWARD THREADS) where it screws into the mirror mount.  The Left side mirror has Right Hand Threads (Standard/Normal threads) where it screws into the mirror mount. There have been a couple reports over the years of customers who have damaged their right side mirror or mirror mount because they did not know it had backward threads.

    Mirror Lens: 5-1/4" wide by 3" tall
    Mirror Stem: 5-1/4" overall length
    These are made of Black Steel, NOT Plastic.

    These are just the ticket when you are looking for a pair of affordable mirrors. The mirror lenses are made of True Vision™ GLASS which provides highly accurate perception.  Many find the flat glass true vision mirror lenses to be a much safer style lens than the fish bowl convex style mirror lenses.  The mirror housings are made of black metal and the mirror stems are made of black steel as well.  The threads on the ends of the mounting stems are 10mm.  It takes the average person about 5-10 minutes to install a pair of these on their bike.

   *INSTALLATION NOTE*
    Installing these is NOT a technical challenge.  However, if you have not changed many motorcycle mirrors I will tell you something you may not know.  It can appear that you have received 2 left mirrors or 2 right mirrors, but actually it just means one of the mirror stems needs to be rotated.  To change the left to right or right to left all you have to do is rotate the stem out 180°.
