If you are looking for a GM Original Air Cleaner Top in as close to show quality as I have ever seen look no further. No its not NOS but it has a nice shine to it & no it has no armor all on it. I do not see any damage to the spring retainer holes, flapper door hinge area, lower support ribs etc. & when you add suction to the original striped hose the flapper door closes as it should. There is no damage or repairs to this Beauty. This would be an Excellent Choice for a Correct Numbers Matching Concourse Restoration. Might be used on a 1970-72 W-30 442 Hurst/Olds Pace Car W-31. I can send you pictures of how to tell the difference between a Reproduction & a Real GM if you email me before the purchase. Yes there is a difference & a Judge at the Concourse car show will know the difference I Guarantee it. The Original has a shiny finish Repro has a dull finish, Original is 1 1/4 tall in the back flapper door area where the foam gutter is & the repro is 1 inch tall, original flapper door has no round mold circles, repro has 16 top & a bunch more on bottom as well as a large mold injection mark, the raised part number is larger on the original, the starburst around the date code on the repro has a bunch of bulbs on the starburst lines like a Christmas tree, the support ribs front & rear are a straight angle, repro is curved towards the bottom, the bottom side vacuum mounts are raised on the original & the repro is flat, there are more large round circles all over the bottom of the repro & none on the original.  Remember Doc Watson, Dr. Oldsmobile, Joe Mondello, Linda Vaughn, Rocket Motors, Hurst Hairy Olds, Mickey Thompson. Happy Restoring !!
