Stradalli "Phantom II" Full Carbon Fiber Time Trial TT Triathlon Bicycle Frameset.
We went back to the drawing board to create the Phantom II, the most aerodynamic TT frame we have ever produced. Starting with the front end, we made some dramatic changes to the previous model. To reduce parasitic drag, we designed a bayonet style fork that cuts through the air like a knife and relocated the TRP front brake to the back side of the fork. We then integrated the fork, stem, and handlebar to create an aerodynamic position for the rider that will give them an unfair advantage, but still offer spacers to bring the pads up for added comfort. The newly designed front end offers some of the lowest amount of frontal surface area out there.
The tube profiles are dramatically thinner than those on the previous model. They offer incredible aerodynamics, and the seat tube provides great shelter for the rear wheel. To reduce even more drag, we moved the TRP rear brake so that it is now nicely tucked in underneath the oversized chainstays. By moving them to the chainstays, we were able to increase the aerodynamics of the frame. The Phantom II is built around a BB30 which offers incredible stiffness out of the crank. This bike is designed to help you shave valuable time off of every race.

This BB30 frame also accepts an adapter sleeve that allows the frame to be used with any standard crank that utilizes a threaded bottom bracket. (Adapter sold separately). This adapter is needed for use with Campagnolo and Shimano cranks.

What an amazing accomplishment from our "small squad" from Germany that caught much attention with more than 200 professional cycling teams world wide. The 17th place finish isnt a remembered as a dissapointment; but a HUGE accomplishment for our "small budget" team. Such an event means mostly: stress, sleepless nights, hedache and nightshifts to prepare and organize travel arrangements for the entire team to go to such an event. Compared to the deep pockets of the big name teams like SKY or BMC who more than triple the funds and staff to assist team riders through the season. Thats why to Stradalli this time meant more than ever as the underdogs, because despite all ambitions and sacrifices the boys did throughout this year and all the good results the team earned in 2016 season – to be at the start of the World Championships is not an everyday thing !
