For sale is The Original Astro Boy Vol. 1 No. 5, originally published by NOW Comics as a first printing for sale in January of 1988. I bought this comic new, put in into a comic bag with an acid free backing board, then stored it in a comic storage box that was kept under optimum conditions for humidity and temperature for 30 years until today. The comic is unread with colors that are glossy, vivid and like-new, with a flat spine without dents, stress cracks, creases, color flecks, writing or stains. The outside of the staples are tight and in a like-new condition without any oxidation. On the inside centerfold, the condition of the staples are like new without any oxidation too. Because of this, I'm grading it as NM (9.4). This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
