VITAMIN C 25%: One of the most well researched and beneficial vitamins you can apply topically is vitamin C. It has been shown to increase collagen production including dermal collagen, which is significant for wrinkle reduction, reduces the appearance of skin discolorations, strengthens skin's barrier response, enhances skin's repair process, reduces inflammation, and helps skin better withstand exposure to sunlight. 

HYALURONIC ACID: Hyaluronic acid is used as a lip filler in plastic surgery, it prevents the effects of aging. In fact, hyaluronic acid is known as a "fountain of youth." 

Hyaluronic acid, also known as HA, is a natural compound found in skin that has many important functions, including holding in moisture, providing cushioning, aiding in tissue repair, holding together the skin structural components collagen and elastin, and helping create a protective barrier against microorganisms. Our skin starts losing hyaluronic acid as early as age 18, but wrinkles and other skin damage from hyaluronic acid loss don't generally show up until the late 30s or early 40s. 

Hyaluronic acid is used in fillers and injected into the deep layers of skin to replace missing HA in the dermis, temporarily restoring plumpness and filling in wrinkles and creases. This restores a youthful appearance to the face, neck, chest or other areas injected with HA fillers. Some people use derma rollers and hyaluronic acid to achieve similar results to fillers. 

When hyaluronic acid is used in skin care every day, it helps to achieve similar results to fillers and derma rollers used every now and then. 

COLLAGEN: As we age, our body loses its ability to make collagen, consequently skin droops and wrinkles appear. Including collagen protein in skin care products is believed to provide the skin with amino acids necessary to manufacture and support collagen. Studies support that collagen peptides extracted from fish consist of small peptide molecules that have a superior bioavailability compared to other collagen products, and due to its smaller molecular weight, it is absorbed by skin at a higher level.

VITAMIN B3: Niacinamide, also known as nicotinamide, is the active component of vitamin B3. When applied topically, niacinamide has been shown to increase ceramide and free fatty acid levels in skin, it prevents skin from losing water content, and stimulates microcirculation in the dermis. It also addresses skin discolorations, often better in conjunction with other proven skin lightening agents such as vitamin C and it also helps to reduce acne. 

VITAMIN B5: Panthenol is an effective skin penetrator It improves hydration, reduces itching and inflammation of the skin.  Panthenol is present in all living cells and is a natural humectant, making it a good hydrating ingredient in skincare care products. It acts as a lubricant on the skin surface, which provides the skin a soft and smooth appearance.

It penetrates into the lower skin layers and is well absorbed by the skin cells. Its ability to penetrate deeply into the dermis gives it a key role in keeping moisture underneath the surface of the skin. When used as part of a daily skin care maintenance system, it can make a big difference in the overall look of your skin. Its exfoliating properties fight free radicals and promote new skin cells to systematically regenerate, providing a fresher and younger look.

VITAMIN E: Vitamin E technical name tocopherol is considered an antioxidant superstar in its own right. This fat-soluble vitamin is available in various forms with eight biologically active components, such as alpha tocopherol and beta tocopherol, or combined in an ingredient called tocotrienols. Simply put, vitamin E in all of its forms works in several different ways to protect cell membranes from oxidative damage and to prevent collagen from being destroyed. It also works in powerful synergy with vitamin C.
