Lactic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid, also known as a milk acid. It is a powerful AHA that gently resurfaces and has a natural affinity to the skin making it very effective at softening and hydrating. As we age our collagen and elastin production slows down and our skins ability to shed dead cells is diminished, increasing the need for more specialized exfoliating products.

Lactic Gel Peels deeply penetrates pores, removing any existing dirt, while simultaneously washing away dead skin cells and increasing new cell production and collagen formation. The hydrating properties makes Lactic Gel the most effective in treating dehydrated and dull skins conditions.

Lactic Gel Peels are the perfect choice for a Skin Peel, providing a safe and effective resurfacing treatment without the downtime of a more invasive peel, and your order includes a complete and detailed instruction card for safe and effective application. The higher percentage of a skin peel does not necessarily give you a better result. The pH of the product will also alter the effects on the treatment. Our products are pH balanced for efficacy, whilst minimising any irritation and discomfort. High percentages with low pH levels are best left for the professionals!

The goal is to exfoliate, clear and refine the skin in a controlled manner and results can take time. Your skin will look and feel cleaner, softer and plumper immediately following your first application, however we suggest weekly or fortnightly treatments for a minimum of six treatments for optimum results as our Lactic Gel Peels are cumulative and the previous application enhances the next.

100% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum is recommended following Lactic Gel Peels to comfort, soften and hydrate the skin.
